Dear Dotsie,
|
January 15, 2009
"You have to trust the inner voice that shows the way." Henri Nouwen In 2009, may all of us spend time in solitude so we are tuned in to our inner voice.
A
new year with lots of business to tend to... It's been brought to my
attention that many of you have received a bill for $3.00 plus tax for
your annual subscription to More magazine which is FREE with NABBW membership. Please do not pay this bill. More
staff member, Sheri Steger shared that the problem has been resolved
and you should not pay the bill. So let's try this again. Please email me if you're a member of the NABBW and you'd like to receive your annual subscription to More magazine. Thank you so much for your patience while they worked out the bugs.
Teleseminars continue to be one of our best venues for educating and empowering boomer women.
At the NABBW, we're always improving communication and procedures.
We're now asking that you register for our teleseminars. All
correspondence about teleseminars will have a place for you to click to
register. Registering is simple. Just click on the link provided and
give us your name and email. You'll receive an email reminder with
details and "call in" information that you can print if you so choose.
Please click here to register for our upcoming teleseminar about Digestive Health featuring Carolyn O'Neil, MS, RD, author of The Dish on Eating Healthy and Being Fabulous! This teleseminar is FREE and open to the public. All you need to do is register.
In
this economy, every little bit helps, even 10%. That's why I'm sharing
with you a new discount. Gifttree.com is an online retailer of premium
gift baskets, wine gift baskets, unique gifts, personalized gifts, and
flowers. They are offering us 10% off everything except their Bonsai baskets and gift crates. This code for members is on the Member Benefits page at www.nabbw.com for future use.
The
New Year always offers opportunities to begin again, dream big, set new
goals, and consider what the future holds for you. What are you doing
to be certain that 2009 will be a year of healthy living; physically,
mentally and spiritually? I hope you will take time to either listen to
these interviews while hanging out online, or print them to read at
your convenience. Here are a few of our best of 2008 that may motivate
you to take better care of your physical health, and take steps to live
your best life in 2009. Approximately 50 more archived teleseminars are on the Members Only page for members of the NABBW. Want to join us now?

PASS IT ON: We all know her. She's at midlife. She wants to take care
of herself but can't always squeeze it in because she's so busy caring

grandchildren, in-laws, neighbors, friends, colleagues, etc. Won't you
please help her out by sharing this newsletter and the NABBW with her?

Regina Leeds 'The Zen Organizer' www.reginaleeds.com
Regina says...There's no time like the present to begin the journey.
New York City native Regina Leeds has brought order to home and work
environments across the United States since January, 1988 when she
started her company, Get Organized! by REGINA. Currently based in Los
Angeles, her clientele runs the gamut from movie stars to business
people and housewives. She is the author of six books and is currently writing book
number seven: "One Year to an Organized Financial Life" with
writer and
financial planner Russell Wilde. As professional actress, she has made
the transition to teacher and seminar leader an easy one. Her
credits include national commercials, guest spots on TV, theatre roles
and three happy years recurring on The Young & the Restless. She is also honored to be a spokesperson for the National Search and Rescue Dog Foundation in Ojai.
A year ago Regina Leeds was enjoying the heady pleasure of seeing her new book "One Year to an Organized Life" hit the New York Times best seller list. "Now I have a lead line for my obit," she thought to herself, and added, "As a cancer survivor, trust me, you think about these things!" Regina was also busy writing her next book "One Year to an Organized Work Life." Who could have imagined how the economy would tank and that her new book would have a special application?
Regina
says it is always important to have an organized work space. But now
with downsizing and job loss spreading throughout the work sector,
being organized is a great insurance policy. One can use organizing
skills to demonstrate to your employer how invaluable they are to the
day-to-day operation of the business. And business owners can just as
easily show their employees by example the kind of office space and
productivity they hope to find throughout the organization. There isn't
a single down side to being organized.
If the world of organization challenges you, Regina offers this tip for our readers: "Getting organized is just a skill.
If you wanted to play a musical instrument like the piano, or master a
sport like tennis, you'd read good books, find qualified teachers,
practice, and hope to reach your individual potential. Getting
organized requires those same steps. It isn't solely for those who seem
to have been born with a natural proclivity for order."
Throughout 2009, she'll be sharing tips and tricks on her NABBW page HERE
that will give you the edge in your quest to achieve order. To learn
more about Regina's organizing greatness, consider buying one of her
books by clicking on the book covers above.
