I wrote this poem last night, but couldn't post it for some reason. So I'm still using gims words.
hands teach blow listen…ew…these are hard? Hmmmmm,,,I can’t break away from my own structure Gims.
I remember a day many years ago, Lying in a meadow trying to blow On a green blade of grass, which I held too tight. Teach me! I cried! I’m not doing this right!
Watch and listen, my brother would say, While blowing Taps, between his hands, all day. I puffed my cheeks, not a single sound would come out, I blew so hard, I got a permanent pout.
Yup, I saved myself some plastic surgery, Grew lucky lips for my man, eternally …. tee hee.
Now onward with chick's words: forget, country, mathematics, yawn

goodness... we're working into more complicated words.... but, I'll not shy away.
You asked my advice, and asked for it twice. I gave it to you. You show discontent for how it all went. I'm sorry for you. I sit down to scribe a way to revive this friendship with you. For me to repent for how your choice went~ would that satisfy you? We each have the might to make this all right. I ask that of you.

Way out west, among the sage, I'm afraid I never heard the PAGE.
As i stood off to the side, waiting for a horse and RIDE.
I noticed everyone started to gawk, OMG, its a was a giant desert HAWK.
Cruising some road kill that nothing but rot, With hunger in its eyes, we knew its PLOT.

Light the candle, bring out the booze, If we don't have a merry time, we'll go for a cruise.
Remember the taste of sweet marble fudge, And how gramps couldn't get ole mule to budge. Remember daddy's face and his silly, silly grin, Or how stubborn ole momma wouldn't let anyone in. Memories, memories, I see cows and my horse, Times gone by are par for the course.
New Words: storms, travel, over, rail

WORDS: merry, trousers, marble, candle
Went to the store to buy a fancy candle Something with a light vanilla scent. On the way, saw more than I could handle From new sweaters to decor for Advent.
When suddenly I stopped in my tracks! I say! As I looked in one fine show case window. The jackets and trousers they displayed, Would even dress up a bare bellied Hindu.
Oh my, I cried with pure delight. This is what I’ve been looking for. I imagined myself dressed to the tee, just right As I skidded across the marble floor.
When I got home and unpacked my new clothes, I remembered that vanilla candle; never bought I’ll go tomorrow, and I need some new hose, Candle shopping is fun; I merrily thought.
Grandkids, playing, wise, story

eeeee...I just read my last poem again. In German there is a saying for a bad poem: "write a rhyme, or you will be eaten...in other words, rhyme it; no matter what! Kill the poet! Kill the poet!

LOL, well I say, kill the German (not really) who started saying that, EW... a poem can take any form the poet chooses, rhyming or not. EW, looks as if you and jabber posted at the same time... chatty grabbed your four words, so I'll try jabber's words: storms, travel, over, rail
Storms--- what they bring to my kind A big one brews outside, while one brews in my mind Tumbling over and over, thoughts - pitiless and unkind - travel through each higher nerve leaving misery behind. I rail hurt to the wind, howls from both storms combined, Baring soul to each storm, full release I must find.
Ask that German if there's a saying about punctuation...lol.
And to get back to chatty's four words:
Eenie, Meenie, Miney, Moe
