I think most of us could draw a seagull
That’s easy, with the black and white wings.
But it’s an art to draw an eagle,
You must start with two round rings.

Just lend me your ears and eyes,
And click on the following LINK .
Learn to draw an eagle and see it fly,
You will be finished in a couple of winks.

I was eager to try; so I did.
Each motive is fun to do.
You will impress every kid,
And most of all you’ll impress you!

Words: each, eager, eagle, ear

Each feathered, winged vertebrate,
On display 'round here,
Is over at Hawk Creek bay,
Along the Southern Tier.

Eager birdwatchers' like to stare,
At exhibits they bring in from everywhere.

It may be too loud for the delicate ear,
But our wildlife sanctuary is open all year.

If you stopover, you'll see the eagle, no doubt,
Boasting of majestic grace and clout.

Edelweiss3,
That was really cool. Unlike you, I had to take a few swipes
at this one. Do not attempt such creation, when you're over-tired
and stressed about relation. LOL...

If thats a poem written when you're tired jabber, I'd hate to see the wealth of one written when you're wide awake. You are good girl!!!

Okat shall we do the F words now?

fable, fabric, fabricate, fabulous

Have you heard the FABLE,
of the FABULOUS frenchman.

Who knows how to FABRICATE a material,
that feels just like the FABRIC, cotton.

They say he's a warlock, a mad man at best,
He's used this fake stuff, and made him a vest.

Words: fable, fabric, fabricate, fabulous

Fabulous Frank found some fabric,
In an ole army footlocker up in the attic.

"Now what can I make out of this stuff?" he wondered.
And he wondered. And he wondered.

Frank remembered hearing a fable,
'Bout Raggedy Ann & Andy;
He'd even been to their museum,
And thought those dolls were mighty handy!

But there wasn't enough material,
To fabricate Raggedy Ann & Andy,
So Frank closed the trunk,
Went to the local bar and
proceeded to get drunk!

Words: fable, fabric, fabricate, fabulous

Have you ever tried to write a fable,
As fabulous as those from Aesop?
Never fabricated one, don’t know if I’m able,
They’re too well written and hard to top.

Remember The Fox and the Grapes?
Or my favourite; The Tortoise and the Hare?
The lessons in the stories are true to this date,
Intertwined like colourful fabric; rich and rare.
