Eenie, meenie, miney, moe...?
I'll pick one, when I don't know,
Which to choose or throw away,
Eenie, meenie, miney,moe,
What can I do, what can I say!

Or,
Eenie, meenie, miney, moe,
Catch a tiger by his toe,
If he hollers, let him go,
eenie, meenie, miney, moe.

Gims,

Punctuation Joke:

An English professor wrote the words, "a woman without her man is nothing" on the blackboard and directed the students to punctuate it correctly.

The men wrote: "A woman, without her man, is nothing."

The women wrote: "A woman: without her, man is nothing."

I bet you know which version I agree with!

Any arguments make sure are on the mends,
because its no fun to lose any FRIENDS.

When I get upset, my friends the BOOMERS,
Just tell me to put on my big girl bloomers.

Lose some fat and those flabby loins,
will separate, and no longer JOIN.

I haven't a clue what is meant by RHYMESTER,
I think our friend Edelweiss is playing the jester.
--------------------------------------------------
A tiny Een,
is called an EENIE.

When you provoke one.
they become quite the MEENIE.

I once knew a woman by the name of Hermine,
selfish about her things, she'd yell out they're MYNIE

If you don't hang on tight to your dough,
you'll be in the street, a homeless MOE.

WORDS: Beagle, grass, rooftop, alley

Eenie, meenie, miney, moe
Why do I have a big black toe
It wasn't like that yesterday
It was kinda blue and greenish gray

Eenie,meenie, miney, moe
Today I have an extra toe
This one's red and orangy
Kinda like the color of Tea

Eenie, meenie, miney, moe
I'm naming them as they grow
What do I call the little stub
Joe the plumber, the little grub

Eenie,meenie, miney, moe
I only have one more to grow
And I can only hope for green
I'm Jabba the Hut For Halloween

Blame it all on my roots
I thought it was cute
When first this site did appear
Not first one to show
Not last one to go
I was the last one I thought I'd see here

And I've seen surprise
and tears in my eyes
When toasting my friends with champaign

Well, this toast is for you
Cause Boomers I knew
I'd rarely hear you complain

I got friends in high places
Where the chatter sounds
and it's without faces
Who cares anyway
We're all ok

We're not big on stating cases
just showing care in these special spaces
Oh, I've got friends
In high places

Well, I know i'm not wrong
It's here you belong
But then, I've been here before

Everything's all right
Sending you an invite
With a welcome mat on the floor

We're never mean
Don't cause a big scene
Just give us chance and then
Well, we'll be as high
As clouds in the sky
If you'll just come in

And join our friends in these places
Where the chatter sounds
and it's without faces
Who cares anyway
We're all ok

I know I'm not wrong
This is where you belong
If you've never been here before
And everything is alright
And we're so polite
Just come on in the front door

We're never mean or cause a big scene
And you don't need some sort of pass
If you join dear lady
I'll head back to my spot
And I'll raise my glass

To You, my Sister
In these spaces
where the rhymesters play
and the fun chases our blues away
And we're all ok

We're not big on stating cases
just showing care in these special spaces
Oh, You've got friends
In high places

Eenie, Meenie, Mynie, Moe

I had a cousin named Eenie
Who had a liking for Meenie
Meenie liked Mynie, instead of poor Eenie
Mynie liked many, but certainly not Meenie
And miserable Moe was not liked by any

Beagle, grass, rooftop, alley

Over the rooftop
and down the back alley
Comes Beagle Malone
toting old dead Sally
In worry and haste
he dreads being chased
'cause he knows her demise
will lead to more lies
Once in the clear
he drops her with care
on grass so green
it accents her hair
From that moment on
he sits beside Sally
'til morn hits the hillside
and dew marks the valley
What he does next
will surprise even you
he lays down beside her
and sadly dies, too.

Whenever I drink cream too fast,
It doesn't soothe and doesn't last.
What I need to calm my head
Is a slice or two of homemade bread.

Hi Yonuh! Cute poem!…So glad you joined our creative group!

dirty, mask, type, rug

Halloween is coming soon!
Got to find my mask in the attic.
Many a vampire will howl at the moon.
'Me too!' I type. I get ecstatic!

Where oh where can my vampire mask be?
I’ve looked in all dirty crates and trunks.
Stumbling over a rug, by the Xmas tree;
I find it on a pile of sexy calendar hunks.

There you are; my scary rubber mask,
With fangs and black spiky hair!
Change me into a monster fast,
Wanna get chocolate and gummy bears!

Oauaoauauauauauhowl.

Autumn, season, beginning, end

welcome, yonuh, you catch on quick and did a great job!

EW, the howl DID it!!!! heehee... and the punctuation joke was just too clever - will be passing that one on.

chick - I'll use your term - Thanky! You mentioned in chatty's invite thread how we use the same words to produce such different poems. That is the most interesting and intriguing thing.

I love our brains and what they can do!
What they do, I appreciate too!

Autumn, season, beginning, end

I left Spring behind as I stepped into Summer
I now hear the beats of Autumn's apt drummer
He's drumming my name, young seasons have run
My beginning has gone, my end will soon come
Life, and its seasons, pass within [a] short time
Winter yet known, but welcomed just fine.
I shan't shed a tear for any past day
The Lord gave me life, he will take it away
(dedicated to Kathy, DD, and her dark moods thread)

heh, heh... coming up with words is as hard as creating the poems...

out, write, game, put
